iPhone on Sale in India for the First Time

Over the last couple years Apple has been developing a strategy to sell its previous gen phones in the second largest market - India. They are planning on setting up small, local shops to get the phone into everyones hands.

The main struggle for Apple is that iPhones are expensive in India. The price of an iPhone as a percentage of per capita GDP is higher in India than anywhere else. An iPhone 5S goes for $1,180 in India.

We don't expect to see large over the top sales but Apple is doing well for themselves by expanding their market.
